Coaster enthusiasts from around the globe flock to Cedar Fair parks for record breakers like Cedar Point’s Millennium Force, Carowinds’ Fury 325 and Yukon Striker at Canada's Wonderland. Award-winning water parks including Schlitterbahn—new to Cedar Fair’s portfolio—offer the coolest spots in their regions to slide, splash, chill and dine. But Cedar Fair offers so much more to keep the fun going.

Cedar Fair parks offer an impressive portfolio of onsite or nearby lodging accommodations—everything from budget-friendly RV campsites to cozy cabins to luxury resorts. Where else than a Cedar Fair property can guests sleep in a treehouse inside the water park or dock their private boat in a marina just steps from the Roller Coaster Capital of the World?
Additionally, Cedar Fair is capturing market share for destination youth athletic tournaments with its new Cedar Fair Sports Center and Sports Force Parks.

The youth sports tournament industry is booming and even has its own vocabulary, including the term “tourna-cation” in which student-athletes’ tournaments are expanded into full family vacations. With the goals of creating world-class experiences for families, becoming an attractive “tourna-cation” destination, and bolstering year-round tourism in Sandusky, Ohio, Cedar Point Park spearheaded development of Sports Force Parks and Cedar Point Sports Center. Both facilities are within a few miles of Cedar Point and its numerous hotels.
Sports Force Parks opened in 2017 to serve athletes in outdoor sports. Teams from around the country play on 12 synthetic turf baseball fields, 11 softball fields, and eight full-size fields for soccer and lacrosse. The sports complex entertains athletes and families during downtime with an 18-hole miniature golf course, a promenade with concessions and merchandise, a ropes course that soars 25 feet in the air, a trampoline park and two playgrounds.
Next door is Cedar Point Sports Center, a 145,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art indoor complex for thousands of young athletes to compete in basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, cheerleading, wrestling and more. Launched in 2020 as one of the largest sports facilities of its kind in the nation, it boasts 10 basketball courts that convert to 20 volleyball courts, a championship arena with seating for up to 700 guests, onsite dining, an indoor walking track, and 9,500-square-foot family entertainment center with climbing walls, an obstacle course, arcade, and more. Numerous meetings spaces provide unique venues for corporate events.
